Farm Fecals is owned by Lindsay LaBella. Lindsay obtained her A.A.S. Veterinary Technology degree from Medaille College, graduating cum laude in May 2017 and passed her NYS VTNE board exams in July. Parasitology was her passion before going back to school for her LVT and it remains a passion today.
Wait, she JUST graduated? Yup, she made a career change mid life. Prior becoming an LVT she was a Fiber Optic Engineer for a national communications company. Self proclaimed “Geek Farmer” she has worked on a farm for over 25 years and has ample number of years doing in-house laboratory work before deciding to be come a veterinary technician. She enjoys helping other small farmers better manage their parasite issues.
Outside of the lab, Lindsay enjoys breeding and training her Moriesian (Morgan/Friesian) horses. Bitten by the driving bug, she is now perusing the fast growing sport of combined driving.
Giving back is important to Lindsay. She is an active member of the Friends of Letchworth, runs a large social equine community called Rochester Trail Riders and can be frequently seen volunteering at local horse shows as well.
